Harry joined St.
Philip’s staff as an Associate
Priest (part-time) in November,
2005.
Harry’s journey to
the priesthood was a convoluted one.
After 4 years of teaching school, he
decided to learn more about what
makes people do what they do. After
earning a degree in Psychology, he
worked as a clinical psychologist
and a teacher of psychology,
eventually moving into a specialty
of working with people with acquired
brain injury. In 1990 he finally
gave in to the life-long call to
ministry in the church. During his
ten years of ordained ministry he
served 5 years as the rector of Holy
Trinity Church in Sooke.
